Refers to a Wide Area Network. A network the covers a wide geographical area. It is typically a connection of teo or more networks. The Internet is a WAN.

 

A term loosley applied to describe the next-generation Internet technology and applications.  Also sometimes referred to as collaborative web.  MySpace and YouTube are examples of Web 2.0 websites.

These methods include designing a content-rich website, good navigation, valid html links, etc. The opposite of black hat techniques.

 

A 'white label' site is a way to create a custom website, using another party's  tools and solution. Although the website solution are generic, you will have the capability to completely customise it, so it looks as if it's your own site. White label sites can be easily rebranded so you are able to use your own domain or sub-domain.

 

The benefit is you can quickly build a scalable site with ready content and structure, without having the coding experience or having to put in your own effort or resources into building the site
